Television Promotion Producer

by christine

I am an audiovisual graduated student, I graduated since 18 months ago.

First, I started to work in a small television as a promotion producer, I liked my job but the salary was very low & I didn't have a good relation with my job so I left to another job in a largest television, with a better salary 50% +.

Now, it's been 8 months I'm doing this job that I dislike a lot, because I have much more skills & capacities to give that to be an assistant for the director of programming.

The thing that I dislike more, is that I don't have now a productivity, my job is limited to assist my boss & apply his demands, as if I am his PA, I feel like my job is taking a big part of secretary and this is a major issue.

I want to be more active & productive, I want to do, to execute a job, to see a result & to feel success.

I feel sometimes as if I am stacking here, because I am afraid to do a changing career step, falling in another mistake, especially that I have monthly duties to pay, so I can not afford staying at home with no work.

All that I am asking for, is an active job, away of sitting on the chair and waiting the end of the day, having a good salary not less than my current one, and just to feel happy while I am working, plus I need to be in a job where i am in a team, not alone.

An interesting introduction; I understand your plea for more interesting work.

Does any other reader have any suggestions I can pass on?
