Telephone Interview Coaching Programme Details

My Career Help Is For You & Your Career Change

Telephone Interview Coaching & Personal Feedback With Peter Fisher

This telephone interview coaching programme is highly recommended because it gives you an opportunity to practise your answers before the real interview and there is nothing like receiving feedback from a person who understands what you are going through and can help you to polish your interview performance. That person is me, Peter Fisher, owner of this site.

Yes, of course there is a cost involved, and yes you can read much of this information in books, but getting individual feedback from a real person is something you cannot get by reading a book, however good that book may be. This feedback will be invaluable in fine-tuning your interview skills for the the interview that matters.

One thing that is often overlooked by interviewees is the importance of your CV. At the outset, all the interviewer knows about you is what you wrote in your CV, so if you go to an interview without fully being on top of what is in your CV, you’re going to find that you and the interviewer are talking at cross purposes.

My telephone interview coaching will take you through a practice interview to appraise your current interview skills and find ways for you to improve them. You will find that the as you practise your interview technique, like anything else, the easier it will become.

Interviewers Are Human Too...

Remember that interviewers are human and can also sometimes suffer from interview nerves and they can dry up if things go badly. A good interview is a two way process, a conversation not an inquisition, but if like many other job applicants, you find the prospect of an interview quite daunting, with me as your telephone interview coach I will advise you on what to say and how to say it in the right way.

The most common way for an interview to start is when the interviewer says: "Would you please tell me about yourself" so that is the first and most important thing I will help you to prepare.

The words may vary of course but "Tell me about yourself" is a request to start talking and get the interview under way. It is at this point that PANIC can set in if you're not prepared. What do they want to hear? Where do I start? How long have you got?

Your answer to this really is quite simple when you think about it this way: The reason you are sitting in this room with this interviewer is to convince them that you are the person they need to hire. Therefore what they want to hear from you are reasons and facts to convince them that you ARE the right person to hire.

Because there are several other candidates probably being interviewed for the same job, my telephone interview coaching can help you perform better in your job interviews, build your confidence and give you an advantage over the other candidates. This coaching can therefore significantly improve your chances of getting the job you want in today's tough job market.

"My telephone interview coaching is successful because I have trained hundreds of people like you in interview techniques and I can therefore teach you how to present yourself most effectively to potential employers"

All discussions are confidential.

  • Winning the best job offer: negotiating salary, start dates and references

Telephone Interview Coaching Fees

My fees for telephone interview coaching start at just £30.00 + VAT (£35.25) for a 30-minute session and are based on the amount of time you book; book more time and the rate per 30-minute session is reduced. For example, when you book a total of 2 hours coaching at the same time you will pay just £105.75 (£90 +VAT), a saving of £35.25.

As an introduction to telephone interview coaching, to be sure it works for you, I am offering a 30% discount on my coaching fees for your first 30-minute session, meaning you can get started for as little as £24.67 (£21.00 + VAT).

Most people choose to take a total of two hours coaching but I usually find that two one-hour sessions taken a week apart are more effective than trying to do everything in a single two-hour session.

By arrangement this can take place during the evening or at weekends, as I recognise that many of my clients are currently in employment, even if you are looking for a change.

All you have to do is select the number of sessions you require, and then click the 'Pay Now' button to take you to our secure online payment system; I use PayPal because it is safe and secure and you don't have to share your details even with me.

I will then email you a brief questionnaire to find out what you are most need from your telephone interview coaching so that I can tailor the service to suit your specific needs. I’ll also ask you to schedule the days and times that suit you best.

Number of 30-minute sessions required:

Introductory Session (30 minutes @ £21.00 + VAT): £24.67 Of course, you could also book this session if you need to have a confidential discussion about any aspect of your career or job search.
