Resume writing for communications professional

I came across your website while looking for tips on how to make my resume work better for me. I am considering ordering your services, but would like you to answer some questions first.

I am a communications professional with 5+years international experience in radio broadcasting, teaching and research. I am a Canadian national looking fro work in the UK and internationally. Do you have any experience writing c.v.s/resumes for individuals who need to dazzle the company enough not just to hire them but to sponsor their work permits, as well?

Also, I am not sure which of your packages - professional or career change- would be best suited to my needs. I am looking for work in the media/broadcasting and communications/pr fields. I also realize that my international experience could equally work in my favour or against me.

I also noticed that the services you offer in the UK are slightly different from those that are payable in US dollars. I am currently in the UK, so was wondering if the package should be your standard package or a different one? And if so, what is the difference between the two packages?

I have written many resumes for 'international media' people both in TV, newsprint and PR all of whom were delighted with the results.

What I would say to you is this: if you have the skills, experience and background, then I can make your resume dazzle any hiring manager and I will make sure that yours will do you proud.

With 5+ years and international experience I suggest you look at the professional package which includes a covering letter.

The differences between the US dollar priced services and the UK services simply reflect the different styles, layout and content of the CV or Resume. Prices vary according to the complexity of the project and the time I spend producing each respective document.

As you are in the UK seeking a UK based position, the UK style CV would be the most appropriate one to purchase. I also find that this style is better accepted for international appointments over the US style Resume.
