Professional CV Template for High Level Career Change.

I am looking for a professional CV template in order to make a high level career change from the US Government (Foreign Service Officer) to the private sector in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility, can you please advise?

I am ideally interested in re-locating back to the USA (I am overseas with a US Embassy now), and am wondering if it would be best for me to look for opportunities first overseas, or initially within the USA, - can you also please advise on this front?

I would be very happy to help you with this but I don't know which branch of the service you are engaged in - I presume you are an Economic Officer possibly working on work on economic partnerships and development, or supporting U.S. businesses abroad and covering some of the environmental, science, technology and health issues.

If that is the case you will have a broad understanding of the issues which affect Corporate Social responsibility and an increasing number of businesses believe it is more than just an add-on to their business. People want to work for, buy from and deal with companies that make a positive contribution to the world. So responsibility and commercial success can, and should, go hand–in-hand.

Your CV can be carefully focused to reflect your own values and show how they align with the principles of CSR while at the same time showing how you make a positive contribution to the new business organization.

I don't know where you are located at present but many jobs are advertised with CSR as a key issue here in the UK as well as in the US, so I would say base your decision on where you want to be and you did say for preference it would be the US.
