I'm doing my MBA (Masters in Business) at the moment and working for a bank as as customer service adviser, I would like to apply for a senior management job very soon, I would like to become a consultant, even though chances are very slim...
I have also been doing mystery shopping firm last 2 yrs ...should i add this in my CV or not??
Reply by Peter FisherIn order to build up your skills stories, it would probably do no harm to add mystery shopping to your CV as the basis of certain skills you now possess.
I understand that such jobs are not easy to get, so if you have been doing it for 2 years then the mystery shopping organization must have been satisfied with your abilities.
Mystery shoppers need to have a good memory, good observational and writing skills. A mystery shopper needs to be committed, able to work to strict or tight deadlines, be enthusiastic and reliable.
No formal qualifications are required, however you must be able to speak, read and write English competently, with good grammar and punctuation for report writing. You must have regular access to a PC, Internet and Email.
Mystery shopping jobs can be great fun and most people have heard of others who enjoy the work because it seems a little bit cloak-and-dagger, but in fact it can be a serious way of earning extra money when it suits you.
It's seems unbelievable, but there are thousands of companies who would LOVE to pay you to shop at their stores, eat at their restaurants, go to their parlors, salons, amusement parks, and do all sorts of other FUN activities.
