fast food assistant manager or teamleader

by dennis monroe
(1108 niagara houston tx)

My name is Dennis Monroe and I just got released from Texas state prison. While incarcerated I earn a two year associate degree in business administration, and would like to work in fast food as an assistant manager or teamleader. But however I need to learn how to fill out a application and resume again. I am in a program that is teaching me at this time and this is my homework. My homework assignment at this time is to describe the type of work I would be doing in this field and so I am looking it up in the occupational handbook the duties of assistant manager.

My work experience goes back more than 30 years ago and I will need to relocate old places were I use to work. Please direct me about how to find these places.and in how to find past employers so I can be effective in job application.

Thank you for your introduction Dennis. You will find lots of help on this site to write your resume and complete your application for example at this page: Resume Tips and here: Resume Writing.

If anyone else doesn't know about the Occupational Handbook you can get free access here: Occupational Handbook 2010. In order to find old places you used to work, you could try local phone directories or probably the easiest way is use the Google search boxes on this website. Just type in the name of your ex-employer and if they are still around, something should come up in your search results.

Now I don't know whether this is something that might help you, but on another of my websites you will find this page: Felon Job Search which has some links to relevant websites which may help you to find the fast food assistant manager or team-leader job you are looking for.

Does anyone else have some suggestions for Dennis? Use the comments to add your ideas.
