CV Cover Letter For When You Need A CV And Covering Letter Quickly

The CV Cover Letter examples on this page are the easiest way to create what you want when you need to send in your CV and a cover letter for a job application.
This is the simplest form of both documents, but together they make a very good package for you to submit.

You should note that the letter actually says you are interested, and you go on to say why; that is because you know something already about the organization, which suggests that you really are interested.

The CV cover letter in the example below can be virtually used as is, just change the relevant lines to your own information and you're good to go!

CV Cover Letter Example - Copy This:

Mrs M Holloway
Personnel Director
Carbolease Limited
Carbo House
Shillings Way
Carnforthchester
CN56 3CV

14 January 2010

Dear Mrs Holloway

Administration Manager Ref: 2345 Manchester Times 10 January 2010

Your advert for the above position really interests me as I am confident that I have all the skills and experience you are looking for in this role. Being relatively local to Carnforthchester and with some prior knowledge of your company's excellent reputation and your range of products, I am very keen to apply for the position as advertised.

From my enclosed CV you will note that my experience includes:

  • 4 years in a similar Administration Manager position

  • Full responsibility for preparation of monthly sales accounts

  • Managing small team of 5 administration and 2 IT staff

  • Improved internal sales control procedures

  • Assisted with post-acquisition integration of Cimballo
With the solid finance, administration and people management experience I have gained at Shelting Limited, I am now ready to move into a more responsible position and will bring experience, energy and ambition to the role.

As requested I confirm my current salary is £32000 plus benefits and my drive to work time would be less than half an hour.

I trust that you will find my application to be of interest and look forward to meeting you at interview.

Yours sincerely

Philip J Dunstable
