CV Advice Wanted
by Andy Billings
Peter, I have been in the Royal Navy for 24 years and I am planning to leave. All of my experience is in the services and needs to be Civilianised. I need a CV and would like to know how much converting my linkedin profile to a CV would be?

Andy, I have read your profile on LinkedIn and I can see that you have substantial expertise and a broad range of experience. Your profile will give me a very good start towards producing a CV which will help you as you leave the Royal Navy. The issue of being 'civilianised' is of utmost importance as the next step in your career amounts to a career change of large proportions.
What I need to know before writing any CV is: Do you have any specific ideas about what you want to do with the next part of your career after leaving the services?
As you probably know, I write lots of CVs for the visitors to my site, I write all of them personally and I do not farm them out to anyone else.
So if you need help with writing a CV you can trust me to write a really good CV for you. All of the information is on my CV Writing Services pages.
When I produce a new CV, it is important to know the direction you are planning and what your aspirations may be, so that the document we ultimately produce is aligned with your goals and career aspirations.
Andy, given your seniority and the depth of your experience, I would suggest that you choose my Executive CV service at £79.00 which will give you the most effective CV for your future outside the armed forces.
You can ring me on 01270 881811 if you would like to discuss it further.
