As Managing Director of the Logistics Services group of companies within Commonality plc, one of the largest technical distribution companies in Europe I held full P&L responsibility for 6 distribution centres with a combined annual turnover of Ł135 million employing 200 people.

My skills and competencies centre on managing and developing people with clear direction and an energetic style leading to an empowered self motivated team.

Qualifications include a Cranfield MBA and Economics first and second degrees. I am also strongly committed to continuous improvement in all activities under my charge, as a trained 6 Sigma black belt.

My career has included:

• International multi-site responsibility having managed the construction and subsequent operations of a facility in USA
• Sound commercial experience through P&L management and business development.
• Change management using continuous improvement tools such as 6 Sigma and Kaizan in both turnaround and steady state situations.
• Successful project management of a complex Ł150 million multi disciplined contract for Aero Systems.
• Experience in Aerospace, Automotive and Print Sectors.

I am known to work best in evolving cultures where change is the norm and where I can use my people development skills to evolve a professional and pro-active management team. Currently I am looking for a Senior General Management role most likely in an engineering environment but this is not essential. Location is flexible but would depend on the opportunity.

My current package is Ł87k plus car, bonus (25% average to a maximum of 75%), health benefits and pension.
