Job Market Competition and Satisfaction

If your current role isn't making you happy, you have a lot of company. Almost half of those questioned in a recent survey are unhappy with their current job.

47 percent of employed executives are either somewhat or very dissatisfied with their current position, according to search firm Korn-Ferry's recent International Executive Quiz.

This dissatisfaction is most likely adding to the competitiveness of the current job market.

The good news is that the number of job vacancies available appears to be stabilising. The not so good news is that more people are coming onto the market in most sectors.
