Mid-Summer Coaching June 23, 2008 |
| Hello There's no doubt that one of the most important tasks to attend to is writing your CV or Resume in plenty of time. Too often it gets left to the last minute then you do a quick update which leaves it OK but not really good enough to win you the interview you want. To help you get this right, I go into masses of detail on our sister site at Your CV Coach which has just been restyled with more CV writing tips, information and techniques to be sure you can get the best CV or Resume out for your job application. I've added some new free CV and Resume samples which you download to your computer from the site so you've got something to copy. When you write your CV or Resume, what the reader needs is just enough information to conclude: "I must interview this candidate" This is the whole point of CV and Resume writing: to get you an interview so you can impress the hiring manager in person. Ø Keep it simple and easy to read. Ø No colour text or background. Ø Absolutely no photos! Ø Are your contact details clear? Ø Use Power Words Ø Try to keep it to two pages Bear in mind that, even if YOU are confident that your CV and Resume Writing is the best there ever was, it is always worth getting a second opinion. So to help you even more I have now reintroduced our Free CV Review so all you have to do is copy and paste it straight into the web-page for me to give you my professional opinion on your CV or Resume. You might as well take advantage of this offer so you are sure your document is in the best possible shape. , thank you again for being a subscriber, 'Coaching for Success' is Success Coaching and Coaching for Winners! Thanks for your support, I hope you will continue to enjoy the new ezine - the success depends on you! Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to cover or any question you'd like me to answer. Best Wishes Peter Fisher
