There's no doubt that one of the most important tasks to attend to is writing your CV or Resume in plenty of time. Too often it gets left to the last minute then you do a quick update which leaves it OK but not really good enough to win you the interview you want.

When you write your CV or Resume, what the reader needs is just enough information to conclude:

"I must interview this candidate"

This is the whole point of CV and Resume writing: to get you an interview so you can impress the hiring manager in person.

Ø Keep it simple and easy to read.

Ø No colour text or background.

Ø Absolutely no photos!

Ø Are your contact details clear?

Ø Use Power Words

Ø Try to keep it to two pages
