7 Steps Article - Your Steps to Career Success

Our Career Help Is Here For You & Your Career Change

7 Steps - Your Steps to Career Success

I wrote this 7 steps article to clarify for you exactly what steps you need to take so that your career change will be successful. It doesn't have to be a career change, these steps also apply just as much if you are only looking to change your job - or find a new one!

If you don't know where to start when you need to change jobs or career - it's just a matter of following this 7 steps Article which will explain what to do for career success and when to do the things you need to do.

What people often forget is that once you start to follow up leads and adverts for jobs, you can get so excited by the prospect of winning the new job that you don't pay attention to all the small details that can mean the difference between success and failure. If you follow these 7 Steps you have a structured plan that means every detail is included - making it a fail-safe 7 step plan to follow!

Step 1 - What Have You Got to Offer?

You have got that certain piece of expert knowledge or bit of experience that others haven't got and it can make all the difference. Take time to sort out your unique difference, then you can talk confidently. Check here

Step 2 - What Can You Say About Yourself?

If you have done something that you're proud of in your job or career then there is no need for bragging; just tell it like it is. Talking about yourself isn't easy but a little practice will get you there. Check Here

Step 3 - Who do You Know?

You might be surprised to find that someone you know, knows someone else that needs you. So get talking! Everyone knows someone who could be a vital link in your network. Check Here

Step 4 - The Best CV or Resume Ever.

Is the one that shows you to be the right choice. Don't let it knock you out of the running. Keep to what is relevant and don't try to include everything you have ever done. Check Here

Step 5 - Applying by Letter.

Keep it simple, the best letter is one page with a beginning, a middle and an end. Include examples of how you match up; best done with 4 or 5 bullet points from the original advert. Check Here

Step 6 - Working the Market Place.

Don't just be a busy fool - use your time according to the payback you can expect. For example adverts only account for 25% of all successful job moves; therefore you should only allow at most 25% of your time on adverts. Check Here

Step 7 - Winning the Interview Game.

Certain types of questions will always crop up. Make sure you get answers to these interview questions so you are fully prepared. Take some time to do this, advice is everywhere so take as much as you can - follow the 7 steps article and everything else you can read. Check Here

Then make sure everything is in place and you haven't overlooked a detail.

These stages are all explained in full easy to follow detail in my e-book "7 Steps to Your Career Success"
